I did a quick search for the specs, and from what I found there are three
types. Resistive, Capacitive and Electromagnetic. Asus say the EP121 is
Capacitive and Electromagnetic. Capacitive for touch and EM for the pen.
I've not noticed if touching the screen with my hand while using pen also
registers touch inputs. I'm pretty sure the pen disables the touch as you
said. I'll confirm this tonight.
