I am in the process of starting a new contract and the recruitment agent has requested access to my credit file (via WorkPro). Is this normal? I’ve only had one contract in the past and the credit check was not done AFAIK. My credit file is clean so that’s not an issue but it contains sensitive information such as my credit card limits, etc, so I’m hesitant to release it unless absolutely necessary.
