Title: Re: Baby identification
but from hazy memory some baby went home with it on and mother didn't remove it for weeks and baby subsequently needed a skin graft.... not a desirable outcome!

My middle child suffers from sensitivity to band-aids (it’s the adhesive, actually). He reacts really badly, even to the ‘sensitive’ Elastoplast band-aids, if they are left on for any length of time (one day is okay, but 2 days causes a welt and subsequent blistering). So I don’t think Elastoplast would be all that great for a newborn baby, and a mother may over-react to that type of reaction on her child’s skin, mightn’t she? We can be soooooo protective of our little one.

Too many Gods;
            so many creeds,
            Too many paths
             that wind and
                 wind,
            When just the art
             of being kind
             Is all the sad
              world needs...
