This is what I overheard an obstetrician say to a birthing woman
recently, whilst applying a ventouse:

' stop screaming....it is all mind over matter...I don't mind and you
don't matter'
if I had not heard it my self I would not have believed it ......
we had quite a heated discussion later outside the labour ward

with woman...and honoring of midwives
