From
what I see midwives are not in decision making areas in management or in unions
or for that matter active in the political sphere. One can keep making excuses
of workloads and lack of support but apathy of a repressed population is more
like it. It is time, as Tina has said, to get into these spheres and start
chipping away. It has to come from within and a passion in what you believe
in.
