Agree that we shouldn't be making any sweeping generalisations about any nation or culture.... The formula companies worldwide are sadly *excellent* in their marketing strategies and know that their money gets them "in" places..... I heard of a very similar story in the UK recently from a fellow Doula who was asked to speak at a conference for health professionals on the topic of obesity with particular regard to child growth and health.
