I wonder what the verdict would be on an 'abortion' after the legally viable period of 24 weeks mentioned in this article. Without getting into the ethics of abortion, i think perhaps that was the defining point in this case - the fact that the baby was 32 weeks and well past the cut off for being 'viable'.
