I am trying to migrate a large 2003 SharePoint site collection to a 2007 SharePoint Site, and I'm running into the issue whereby I cant migrate a whole bunch of documents that contain special characters. (eg. +,%,&) It appears to exist fine within SPS 2003 and the windows environment, but if I try to upload files to SPS 2007 that have these characters it doesn't upload properly. In particular too, ZIP files that contain special characters do not open at all. I been searching the net and so far run into suggestions that the filenames should just be changed, but our customers require these characters. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
