Thanks Daniel
I have set up incremental build for our app. But wasn't sure about how to move
from the drop location to the deployment location without manually identifying
the files. Robocopy completes the solution. Thank you very much.

Ian
Thanks for your answer. I will look up using WIX. Do you have any article that
you would recommend for me to start with?

Thanks
Deepak

One approach - Generally speaking you need to do an incremental build - and
then use a utility like Robocopy that can be set to use parameters to only copy
"newer" files...

Subject: Partial deployment of ASP.NET<http://ASP.NET> application

Hello

Is there a way to do a partial deployment of files using Team build? We
currently do a daily build. We would like to move only the changed files (aspx
and the dlls) to the deployment folder and not the entire contents of the
build. Currently, we just use a different workspace to get Currentbuild-1
source files and do a comparison with the current version and manually write up
release notes to do it. Is there an easier way to do this. I would like to just
deploy changed files. (Our developers check in and out at will...right now
there is no constraint on when a file should be checked in except that checkins
at the end of the day should build).

Thanks

Deepak
