I am trying to setup Packetfence for a trial in our network.
I installed version 3.1 on Centos 5.7.
I have the Packetfence web interface running.
I have configured a single switch (HP 2524 configured as suggested in the
Network Device Configuration Guide).
I have single client to plug into the switch.
The switch is sending traps to the Packetfence server (verified in the
snmptrapd.log), and I can affect the switch with pfcmd_vlan (i.e. force an
interface to be untagged to a new VLAN).
What isn't happening is any VLAN configuration from Packetfence to the
switch when I plug a device in.
I have the switch setup with 5 vlans as indicated in the setup guide.
1 Normal
2 Registration
3 Isolation
4 Mac Detection
5 Guest
On Packetfence
eth0 DHCP server - Normal VLAN 192.168.1.5

If I turn off port-security on a port and then plug in my test machine to
that port, it will get an IP address in the 192.168.1.X scope.
Shouldn't the reciept of the trap be enough to initiate some kind of
change in the switch?

At this point I can't even find anything to troubleshoot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
