Hi, there is a config for readin snmp and a config for writing snmp. I only did
the config for the reading part. Sorry I'm also new to packetfence and don't
know how to explain it any better.
You need to ensure that packetfence knows how to read snmp from your switch
and how to write to your switch. The config for read and write are in separate
sections of the config file. I'll try and find a sample for you. I'm still
running packetfence in a testbed environment and cannot access die configs from
my main workstation.

Regards,

Wikus

Subject: Re: [Packetfence-users] HP Procurve 2524 setup help

When you say incoming and outgoing, do you mean incoming to the switch, or
incoming to the Packetfence server?

I don't see anything specific to incoming/outgoing in the documentation for
Packetfence or my switch.

Thanks in advance fr any help you can give.
