I have installed Packetfence on Centos6.3 and everything appears to be
installed correctly. I am using a Cisco 2960 configured directly out of the
documentation for that device in the Packetfence Network Device
Configuration Guide using the Port Security method.
I am seeing 2 problems; first I am not seeing any traps sent from the 2960
unless I turn off the iptables service on Packetfence. According to the
documentation, packetfence should be controlling that service and I cannot
figure out why it wont allow it.
Once that is turned off, I am able to see the following in the
snmptrapd.log everytime the 2960 sends a trap.

I am wondering about the Wrong Type in the message.
Also the packetfence.log file only shows the following, over and over;
pfsetvlan(24) INFO: secureMacAddrViolation trap on 192.168.1.1 ifIndex
10002. Port Security is no longer configured on the port. Flush the trap
(main::signalHandlerTrapListQueued)
Nothing else happens and the PC is never allowed access.
I am doing this in a lab enviroment with everything setup exactly as
described in the assumptions section of the Packetfence Network Device
configuration guide.
Any help would be appreciated!
