What is 0025.1185.e79f ?
If it's the device mac address you will never receive a trap.

Hi guyz,
I need some help here, i have done my initial packetfence
configuration defining the Management, Registration and Isolation
Vlan. I have as well configured snmp v2 on both the Packetfence and
the Cisco 2960 switch. I have defined the Mac-Detection vlan same as
Isolation vlan. Its the vlan i have configured on the user interface
of the switch as shown below;
Registration Vlan= Vlan 10
Isolation Vlan = Vlan 20
Mac-Detection Vlan = Vlan 20
interface GigabitEthernet0/3
switchport access vlan 20
switchport mode access
switchport port-security maximum 1 vlan access
switchport port-security
switchport port-security violation restrict
switchport port-security mac-address 0025.1185.e79f
spanning-tree portfast
end
ECS-ASW-FL1#sh run | i snmp
snmp-server community Pass123 RW 15
snmp-server enable traps port-security
snmp-server enable traps port-security trap-rate 1
snmp-server host 10.10.0.10 version 2c Pass123 port-security
snmp-server manager
ECS-ASW-FL1#sh run | i access-l
access-list 15 permit 10.10.0.10 log
When i start the user computer i am redirected to the login page and
issued ip on vlan 20 via dhcp. However when i input my credetials i
get the error wrong username/password.
When i manually set the computer as registered, i am redirected to a
page that states 'you network should be enabled within a minute or
two...' and nothing happens even after reboot.
snmpwalk works but running snmptrapd.log nothing is displayed
What or where would i be going wrong? Help me out here brilliants!
Regards,
Frank
