Mark, in Strawberry Perl's case, I also build .par files for
Alien::wxWidgets against 5.10.1 whenever I build a new version of any
"Strawberry-plus" distribution that needs Padre. Forgot to mention this
earlier.

Current locations for the 5.10.x .par files are:

http://strawberryperl.com/download/padre/Alien-wxWidgets-0.50-MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.10.1.par
http://strawberryperl.com/download/padre/Wx-0.9701-MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.10.1.par

Maybe I could put updated ones up at www.wxperl.co.uk in the future, if
you'd like. (Strawberry Perl contains both the PAR::Dist modules to make
and install them.)

Speaking of which, I should start checking soon to see if wxWidgets (and
therefore Padre) can be built on MSWin32-x64-multi-thread! (It turns out
there's an open RT bug documenting the fact that it can't.)
