Hi Enrique, As much time as seems reasonable.
If you need a few days, then I can roll out a release mid week ( next week ), or if you need more time, then we can do a release now - getting a feel for where the code base is - leaving the following release a good chance for the translators to do their thing. I know people like to have a frequent release schedule and generally we can meet a fortnightly release schedule, but I'm not hard set on this myself, as long as we release regularly with the improvements to the code being the key driver. I have in the past made calls for translations and asked for the developers to keep strings stable during the "translators dev" cycle. I'm happy to do this again if you would like to have the extra time, however we need to keep it fairly tight as the devs once they get going start baying at the doors to commit changes. Of course we could also do this in a branch, which while suits an individual developer working on something separate to trunk, I'm not a fan of for many people having to do if it can be avoided.
