Hi,

as it turns out the messages.pot file that contains all the strings
that need to be translated
is broken since the branching for the next release.
I am not sure what is the exact cause of the problem but apparently
when Peter or myself
generate the file then a lot of strings are missing while when Zeno is
generating is generating
then (probably) all the files are there.
I added a test case to trunk to check for some of the strings and I
think I'll add some more
but there is a question how to fix this?

Shall we ask Zeno to generate the message.pot file on the branch?
Shall we wait till the release and do it on trunk?

Right now I think every translator who is trying to translate Padre
will effectively remove some of
the valid translations as the original strings have disappeared from
the messages.pot file.
So I think it would be better to generate the messages.pot file on the
branch and let the
translators bring back the previous translations.

Please respond ASAP.

If there is no very strong opinion against it then Zeno will generate
the messages.pot file in
tomorrow morning GMT.

regards
   Gabor
