Hi, you're doing a great job with the bot, but I don't know if all of this is necessary. We've been on irc.perl.org for years and I don't remember one kick or ban.
It's quite friendly here (like IRC should be) and we don't need all these toys which became quite common on some IRC networks where fighting became more important than chatting. There has been one single unfriendly issue lately but no bot or anything else would have been able to avoid this. Just by 2ct...
