I just got it to work. Rather than simply clicking on the link to trigger the
download, I chose Download Link to Disk from the pop-up menu. I assume this prevented
some unwanted line-end convention processing. I suspect it's a bug in Explorer.
To answer your questions: I'm downloading using Explorer 4.01. I have it configured to
use StuffIt Expander 4.0.2. I'm not behind a firewall.
