This reminds me of those mothers that eat their young. I guess I watch
too much on PBS.
I was directly "influenced" by the Palm trademark use clauses because I
initially called my virtual memory manager buddy PalmVMM. Dave Fedor
was nice enough to email me their trademark guidelines (thanks Dave!)
and they spell out exactly how it is.
I think that 3Com will probably take action when they are made aware of
the problem. Nobody from 3Com informed me of infringements until they
were made aware of my intentions to release a product with the Palm name
in it.
Dave Fedor might have a good web link that we can use as a reference
point on this issue. I'm lazy and didn't search the web site.
