>From Pen Computing, Vol 6 No 28, p 6:
"The HP Jornada 420's conventional DST color screen is super-bright indoors,
but almost unreadable outdoors. Sharp's high-reflective TFT, found in the
Compaq Aero and the Everex Freestyle 420, can be read in bright sunlight, but
indoors it's still somewhat of a compromise."
By comparison, the Palm's black and white displays are virtuoso performers,
readable in a broad range of indoor/outdoor lighting. Color is inevitable,
but when you sacrifice too much in readability and battery life, it just
doesn't make sense.

The poor babies must be kept in their cradle. So that is what was
meant when I heard someone say "Windows CE Rocks". Maybe Palm could
get an "Energy Star Compliant" certification.
Do you have a link with specific timings. I could use such information to
help explain why we are using Palm technology.
(MSFT has said they are going to simplify CE - so how much is the
simplification API going to consume in memory and speed? :).
