I don't think OmniRemote actually flips the display, it just drew
upside-down bitmaps.
I remember the Newton allowed you to rotate the screen 90, 180 or 270
degrees, but only on the models that had a virtual silk-screen area, (a
virtual silk-screen area on the Palm would be a neat way to get more screen
real estate without making the unit larger).
