In the discussions over the past few days I could find no authoritative
response about the 3.1 vs. 3.1.1 OS distinction in the IIIe, which in my
app's case is very important. I had several users griping at me about
grayscale display problems on IIIx's, and this was (fortunately) mostly
corrected with the OS patch.
So can you, Bob or Jesse tell us if the IIIe has the display patch... or
not, and if not, if the 3.1.1. patch still works as expected?
