ok.. this is my situation.
Ericsson 888 --> IR --> Palm V8
i have the necessary cables from the Palm V to the serial port
and the ericsson 888 to a serial port.. i was thinking of using
the cables instead of IR.. and hence do something like this:
Ericsson 888 ---> null modem --> Palm V
i would have thought that a null modem would be good enough
in this situation.. - i was going to buy the gender-bender type
(small) - to connect the two female 9pin connectors together.
i guess if the null modem wont work.. i need to get out the
trusty old soldering iron and make my own.. i will buy one and
try it.. maybe my problem is different from the one you are
explaining.. - if all else fails we have the connection chart
