Well I was very much looking forward to the Wireless talk and I came out
rather disappointed. The guy didnt do much more than talk about Palm.net
and give a demo of the Palm VII which of course we've all tried already.
There was no mention about their plans for Europe even tough several people
asked the question. I think I was not the only one that came out of that
talk thinking that Palm does not have a European wireless strategy.
Oh well with the GSM penetration over here people are just connecting their
Palms to their phones. Probably using StockManager to dial your ISP to
check your stocks will be cheaper than some Palm.net service over here.
From what I understand, it is quite expensive in the US.
