Without wanting to do a "Me Too!", I would agree with that. Content was
pitched at the right level of detail, speakers came across well,
presentations (at least the ones I saw) weren't dry or amateurish.
Particular credit goes to David Fedor who presented some of technical
sessions covering 3.5 - I can't wait to get POSE and OS 3.5 running on
this Linux box :-)

I missed "The Competition", but I must confess I was a little disappointed
with Handspring's presentation. Being of a technical mind, I managed to
get through the hardware information (despite hardware not being my forte)
- but it did seem inappropriate for a keynote. Perhaps it was due to the
clash with the Java & Palm presentation in the other room? (Which I'm
annoyed about missing)

You and me both :-) One of the rest of our company's delegation filled me
in later. Plus there were his stock responses: "Don't Know, Can't Say, See
me Later" (or something like that)
ho hum :-(

Yep, he really wasn't sure how to answer that one - I don't think he
actually answered it properly, looking back.

Me too :-) Was I right in saying they said the next one was in a "year
and a bit"? I don't think I can wait... anyone fancy an "Unofficial UK
PalmSource 2000"?

(who really needs to get a .sig sorted out sometime)
