Do you happen to know how much that costs??!!?? Daylight readable, color LCDs are in
the thousands of dollars -- wholesale! -- due
to the yields of the process technology.
If you expect a $450 retail handheld device to match the performance of a $5000
solid-state, color, aviation, instrumentation
display unit, you set your expectations WAY too high. Also, there is no FAA approval
for any Palm Computing device to use in
flight.
How about complaining that it isn't waterproof??? Frankly, I'm impressed Palm is
claiming this at this price point and power
consumption.
