IIRC VA Linux offered 400 share lots at IPO price to free software authors.
It doesn't look like that is going to happen with Palm though which at this
point in history I'm sure infuriates many of us. But that is probably just
the decision of the 3com influence which doesn't consider the poor little
retail investors like us -- who also happen to be a big part of their
developer base. Really have some mixed feelings here, especially since I
let myself get so emotionally involved with the Palm. 3Com is just not into
Karma I guess.
