I tried out PalmOS 3.5 (dr4) on my palm V (upgraded to 8Mb). I have
several hundred databases, mainly midi files and QuoVadis maps.
The application launcher takes FOREVER to come up and to display
something like the info dialog.
This is so slow (as well as some of the other apps which seem to be
doing similar calls - maybe in the sort routine?) that it renders it
almost unusable.
The one thing I really like is the 200K+ dynamic heap.
(There are some incompatible applications which might or might not
have affected my decision to continue trying this out)
