You're right, if you think of your PDA as a toy, of course you want it to be
flashier and make more noise than your friend's toy.  However, many of
palm's customers don't use their palms as toys.  They use them as tools for
their work.  Tools need to be efficient no-nonsense devices that get the job
done.  Tools shouldn't make users wait and tools shouldn't crash.

The reason why I support the palm is that it mimics a philosohpy of mine.
Bigger is not always better.  The problem with the world right now (and
especially the USA) is that everyone has to have everything...people are
never happy with just enough.  The palm gets by on just enough, and it can
do some cool things.
