I finally re-installed the Palm Desktop 4.1.4e. I note usbport.dll does not ship with this, in fact, my previous 4.4.0.0 dll was removed by the installer. I then copied into c:\programfiles\palmon the proper usbport.dll someone sent me. Now, a USB Hotsync works fine, but PilotInstall has stopped working under USB, and trying to debug on my T3 via USB fails on the connection attempt :( What's the procedure to get this going? I checked previous threads, and the only thing I learned is where the dll should be.
