Actually, that was only one of several complaints I originally had, but
others have more eloquently stated those positions (the software and
hardware issues). I made the mistake of attempting to defend my position to
a group who didn't agree when my comments probably should only have been
directed at Palm. I seemed to only be concerned about this point because I
felt attacked on it. Unfortunately, I attacked back and I am sorry for
eating up more bandwidth than was necessary.
Let's just leave it at the statement that many of the developers would have
liked to have had more information sooner.. for a variety of reasons,
including software, hardware, and project planning issues.
I still consider this the most competent and helpful group of developers
around.. and I think Palm is all the better for it.
