Its a contraction of the product's mission statement:

'Let's build a product that is physically incoMpatible with the 100's of 3rd
party hardware devices that use the serial port.'

I just can't wait for the USB Palm.  When it starts shipping, I might as
well throw out all my inventory because I'll pretty much be out of business.
