But the Visor 'serial' port has only one (input) control line. An out
control line (similar to RTS) would be needed. Handspring has told me
directly that their serial port was designed with keyboards in mind (low
power devices that output only). Ideally USB would work if the hand held
could talk to devices other than hubs. Firewire or USB2 could take care of
most problems (maybe even BlueTooth) but neither are ready for low power
hand held devices yet.
