Sorry, that wasn't clear from your initial question (or I didn't read
it carefully enough).

Oh, that's okay. I didn't pose that question earlier, I was just
piggybacking
on someone else's thread. :)

PDB-Def is a developer tool for creating databases, not bundling as

JC>>Ahah! (the lights go on) So when I see these databases on PalmGear like
"The Complete 2001 Baseball Schedule" someone has taken the raw data
(in Excel maybe) and generated a CSV with which they might use your tool
to get it into a Palm DB and then write some code around it to view the data
on the palm itself. I think I see now

This seems to contradict what you say earlier. Are you creating a
program to use on behalf of a user, a program for a user, or a
program to use for yourself?

JC>>I'm creating a program for a user. They will be creating the data to
load into
the program. I already have an app written on the Palm and I just want to
add the
ability for the user to generate data on the desktop (say in Excel) and
then suck
that data into my app via a HotSync operation. If a conduit isn't the way
to go,
what is the best method?

John

BTW: I won a copy of your book a couple of months ago when it first came
out.
Is there a way I can get a replacement CD? The one in the book is shattered
(probably had something fall on the book at my house). I'm guessing I would
have
to go to the publisher, but I figured I would ask you about it too.
