I agree with you Aaron!!! Palm needs to listen to the people that actually make the Palm hardware usefull. There is no way one company 'Palm' could expect to know all the possible uses of a handheld. That is why us developers need to have some level of freedom with any handheld we want to write applications for.
So, sometimes to write "Narly Software" you have to do things that no one else has done before. Especially when we do custom Strip Chart type applications that use the display. HMI is a term that means Human Machine Interface. The best HMI is always evolving. Please don't lock us out in the OS 5.0.
