Please don't crash the user's device, even if s/he is impatient; it only serves to further frustrate the user. The above approach is like asking someone for directions who also has no idea how to get where you're going. Keep in mind that not all Palm OS devices are as forgiving as others with regard to reading-from/writing-to inappropriate memory addresses.
