That's real strange - I should try your detection code, it looks like it should work. Yeah, the Zire 21 simulator does a poor job here.

BTW, I discovered that you can debug directly on the Zire 21, so that might give you some help (It helped me discover an obscure problem relating to bitmap families and the upgrade to the new version of Constructor included in the Palm OS 5.3 SDK upgrade - too complicated to describe here, but just opening and saving the resource files with the new Constructor before trying code on a Zire 21 is a very good idea...)
