I think most people do. Those of us who have written free things
certainly know that.

Exactly. This is why I have an issue with cygwin. It wasn't that big a
deal before, because we could avoid using them. Now that they're
becoming official, they need to be easier to use.

<sigh> Touchy. There is a problem here, whether or not you want to face
up to it. I talk to a lot of people who want to start PDA development,
and the vast majority of them really don't like the available tools. I
find that worrying.

The command line interface is not the point - we're going to get
Eclipse, and I'll lay odds that Borland will support the tools as well
in CBX. I can even use Delphi from the command line (and some people
do). The issue is installing the damn tools in the first place.

Great. That sort of thinking is not going to upset the "stupid users" at
all.
