Pocket PC applications can use the internet connection of the PC they are connected to through ActiveSync. Is this possible on the Palm? Can a Palm OS app access the internet through a USB cable connected to a PC with an internet connection?
Not with the software bundled with the device, but they can using third-party software. Many people have had success using Softick PPP (http://www.softick.com/ppp/) with their Palm OS device.
