I am trying to figure out if there is a maximum size the resource can be for an application? Currently, I have 30 forms 48 Bitmaps and have had no problems using PODS. Today when I tried importing a bitmap (300k), the project compiled fine, when I ran the simulator however, I received the error:
Skipped resource Tbmp 570 while importing C:\...myAPP.prc I kept shrinking the image until it worked (when it was cut down to 43k). This is not the first 300k image I have in my resource editor and as I mentioned earlier, have had no problems up until this point. I did see the discussion at http://news.palmos.com/read/messages?id=191207#191207. He has a lot more forms than I do, but he doesn't mention the same type of error I receive.
