Hello, The research that I'm currently doing right now for the Palm OS 5 doesn't involve infrared communications or the like, but I was wondering if its possible to develop a program that could capture raw input from a device so that I could analyze it, and then send out very specifice infrared input (that I would program of course).
I just want to make sure that there aren't any limits placed on infrared communications by the OS that I might not know about. I've been poking around the forum archives using Google and I've found some good stuff here, but I can't find the IRCommunications program mentioned at the PluggedIn forums. I downloaded the SDK and the AboutSamples.txt file mentioned it, but the directory wasn't there! Could somebody e-mail the source code to me if you have it? Maybe they decided to take it out in the later updates.
