I don't want to be picky or seem like I'm pushing one brand over another BUT...if you value your data (cardmodels of course !!!!!) do not buy a Maxtor hard drive. Also do not buy a Western Digital hard drive. Purchase a Seagate drive....I'm in the business and have seen more dead WD and Maxtor hard drives than I've had hot feeds and have a pile here that an Olympic athlete couldn't jump over. Seagate have a five year warranty and while not perfect are certainly your best bet for storage and longevity. No need for a reply on this, I know everyone has their preferences, I'm just giving you my experience from the computer industry. I have no wish to start a fireball thread with this, just my 2 bobs worth.
