Many,
For him it could also be "because he can". Sure it keeps his mental acuity up! I had the same question until I realised it's a piece of art, plain and simple. The engineering is to be explored, experienced and appreciated in much the same way as lighting, brush strokes, form, etc. not sure I'd find a place for it even in my eclectic collection of "things". With this one, it's my turn to ask "why?". It's a marvel of engineering, but unless you appreciate cogs and gears and wood turning, it's not really my cup of tea.. now if it *made* a cup of tea..... :) But if someone gave one to me, I wouldn't knock it back. ;) Mandy ----- Original Message ----- From: "william perry" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 03, 2009 12:40 PM Subject: [Papermodels II 35479] All wood machine > > Next....a working Saturn V all wood.... > > http://www.wimp.com/strangemachine/ > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
