I liked the wood project! I think is art and it demonstrate different forms of translating movement. The solar system clock is amazing, but there was a very strange movement from the planet earth. Maybe it's the true movement of earth, because sometimes I think humanity is going backward! Siu :-) On Apr 3, 11:52 am, [email protected] wrote: > Yup. I contacted him back in december, and hoped to become a beta builder for him. I even went so far as to get a really cool scroll saw for Xmas (I still need a decent drill press though.) He was very warm on the idea, and I again contacted him mid January, but alas, no plans have been forthcoming yet. I was hoping that the gearing proved to be at least partially achievable in paper, albeit you may have to paint\soak the gears with that super-glue; maybe not all 9 planets, err, orbiting whatevers, but a few of them and you stop when the stress gets too great. > > --- On Fri, 4/3/09, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> > Subject: [Papermodels II 35486] Re: All wood machine > To: "Papermodels II" <[email protected]> > Date: Friday, April 3, 2009, 11:37 AM > > Jon, > That will be incredible!
