Yup. I contacted him back in december, and hoped to become a beta builder for him. I even went so far as to get a really cool scroll saw for Xmas (I still need a decent drill press though.) He was very warm on the idea, and I again contacted him mid January, but alas, no plans have been forthcoming yet. I was hoping that the gearing proved to be at least partially achievable in paper, albeit you may have to paint\soak the gears with that super-glue; maybe not all 9 planets, err, orbiting whatevers, but a few of them and you stop when the stress gets too great.
