I've heard this argument such a lot that it makes me crying with streams
of tears in my eyes! :(
Is the situation in the IT really so that we have no other things to do
than repair bullshit software? Are there really no new fields to
explore? Fields like writing new applications for solving still unfixed
problems like "I think of a model and you, my dear computer, unwrap it,
texture it, print it and give me scissors and glue directly in my hand"!
;)

I'm working in the IT also but I'm glad that customers of me tell me how
glad they are that they "even don't now that there is a linux server
standing around - it simply works". I want to help them implement new
applications or evolve new ways so solve their needs and not to hang
around repairing windoze ... :(

Only a thought,
Wolfgang
