Mike- I use Bluehost.com and am very happy with it. They offer inexpensive packages and lots of options. My site space allotment is huge (3gigs) and yet costs less than 20 bucks a month. I run three sites from the same URL (with subdomains) and still have room for file backups. They are also very communicative, constantly upgradng their services (no charge) and easy to reach with questions. High bandwith limits, too :)
