I like to glue small strong magnets inside the bottom of unstable models, especially in the feet. The weight works well for balance, and if you place the model on a metal surface, it ain't goin' nowhere!
As an extra step for my superhero models, I purchase 4" x 6" sheets of aluminum flashing, cut them to shape and size, cover them with paper graphics, and use them as bases for my figures. Cheers!
