Well, aside from my paper models, I use my computer for storinng music and
photos, word processing, and playing a few basic games (nothing more
involved than Tiger Woods PGA 09). I don't do anything too radical in the
way of photo-editing or video, as my wife's Dell is set up for all of that,
so all I really want is a basic PC with decent RAM and a large hard drive.

Run, don't walk, away from that thing. eMachines makes total garbage
and they are overpriced to boot. A friend owns a computer repair and
eMachines are the #1 brand which comes in. Besides you can build a far
better system for less and it will actually have good reliable parts.
If you don't want to build anything yourself, just give me a yell since
you aren't that far away.

EeePC's are ok but not for multi media use...pretty much email and
browse only. Limited drive space and no optical
drive ...aaaarrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!
