Hey there, I just came across this thread in my email, and I am intrigued. You say you need illustrators and designers for this project. I designed a boardgame with my wife a few years back as a class project for her logistics/math class. It was very simple in concept and play.
Anyways, I would be willing to offer my professional services as an illustrator, graphic designer, and play-tester if you are interested. If I understand this correctly, this would be "pro-bono" correct? Should the game get picked up by a distributor/game company or should it be made for resale, will all who contributed to the creation be "rewarded" in any monetary sense? Just curious... either way I would like to help as I previously described. All that I would be asking for in return is (I'm sure others would agree as well): • full credit for my participation in the development of the game; • rights to use any and/or all of my designs/artwork for my own professional self-promotion; • being brought onboard the design team should the development get picked up by a manufacturer/game company (in which case everyone would receive some compensation for their part); • and possibly a finalized copy of the fully-completed game (as everyone participating in its development should receive). You can view samples of my art/design portfolio at: www.disturbedbyechoes.com http://disturbedbyechoes.daportfolio.com If you are interested in bringing me onboard please contact me: [email protected] We can discuss the specs, development issues, and what not via email. - James -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
